• Integrated Greenery: A built-in planter box lines the edge of the mezzanine, softening the transition between the sleeping loft and the living area below.
• Smart Staircase Storage: The wooden staircase isn't just for access; the underside is utilized as a multi-tier open shelving unit for decor and essentials.
• The Archway Detail: A recurring arched doorway provides a soft, organic contrast to the clean, straight lines of the cabinetry and loft structure.
• Material Palette: Light-toned natural oak paired with off-white lime-wash walls to maintain a bright, expansive feel despite the narrow width.

How I Designed This with AI

The goal here was to create a "Visual Story" of progress. I used the first image to establish the structural skeleton and the second to showcase the finished aesthetic.

Prompting for Realism: To capture the messy "work-in-progress" look, I used keywords like "construction site," "exposed timber joists," and "hi-vis vests." For the finished shot, the focus shifted to "soft diffused lighting" and "minimalist Scandi interior."

Spatial Continuity: To ensure the AI understood both images were the same house, I kept fixed anchors in the prompt, such as the position of the staircase on the right and the mezzanine height. This makes the "After" shot feel earned and authentic to the original space.
